Umm ul Momineen Hazrat Ayesha RA, being the most favored and intimate companion of Prophet Muhammad SAW, has an unparalleled knowledge of his life. As Prophet Muhammad SAW was breathing his last on his deathbed, it was the lap of Ayesha RA that he chose to lie in. The chosen abode of Prophet Muhammad SAW, during his final hours, was the house of Ayesha RA as she held a special place in his heart.
She shared the Prophet's hardships, hunger, and poverty, and endured the lack of fire in their home for days. During those difficult times, they survived only on dates and water, yet Ayesha RA remained steadfast and did not experience any discomfort as her love for the Prophet Muhammad SAW was paramount.
She was the only wife of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, for whom Allah Almighty revealed dedicated verses in the Holy Quran, affirming her innocence and modesty.
Today, on the 17th of Ramadan, we commemorate the passing of Umm ul Momineen Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa RA, the mother of all believers, daughter of Prophet Muhammad SAW's beloved friend and the first caliph of Islam, Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique RA, and the most beloved wife of Prophet Muhammad SAW.
Her life is a shining example of knowledge, character, and faithfulness for all humanity. May Allah bless us with the ability to follow in the footsteps of our revered mother Hazrat Ayesha e Siddiqa RA. Ameen.
