Saudi Arabia, UAE Ranked Top Globally For Strongest Economy

A new survey by Ipsos, a research and consultancy firm based in France, has named Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the two countries with the strongest economies in the world. The survey, called the Primary Consumer Sentiment Index (PCSI), looks at how people feel about their local economy's current and future conditions, as well as their own financial situations and investment confidence.

The survey included the UAE and 25 other countries from around the world. According to the Ipsos Index, the UAE has the second-strongest economy in the world, with 63% of people feeling confident about its economic strength. However, this number has gone down slightly from 71.3 to 70.7 in March 2023.

On the other hand, Saudi Arabia has surpassed the UAE in the Ipsos Index, with 96% of people feeling confident about its economic strength. Even though the UAE's number has gone down slightly, 95% of people still think the country is moving in the right direction, which is up 1% from February 2023.

Most people in the UAE (44%) feel that their financial situation is good. However, the survey shows that people are a little less willing to make big purchases, with 80% of people feeling comfortable enough to do so.
