Giovanni Vigliotto's name may not be familiar to many people, but he holds a notorious record that has earned him a spot in the Guinness World Records. Vigliotto married an astonishing 105 women without ever getting divorced, making him the man with the most bigamist marriages in the world.

The man who fooled over a hundred women
Between 1949 and 1981, Vigliotto married women across 27 different states in the US and 14 other countries. He used fake identities each time, and his wives did not know about his other marriages or the man they were marrying.

However, things took a different turn when Sharon Clark, one of Vigliotto's victims, decided to take matters into her own hands and tracked him down. He was eventually arrested on 28 December 1981, charged with bigamy and fraud.

The downfall of a bigamist. In 1983, in the days of his trial , Vigliotto said that his real name was Nikolai  and registered 50 aliases he used in the days his cheating activities. He also gave the names and addresses of his 105 wives, providing proof of his deceit.

Despite Vigliotto's claims that he treated his wives well, he was sentenced to 34 years in prison and fined $336,000. He spent the remaining eight years of his life in the Arizona State Prison before passing away in 1991 at the age of 61 due to a brain hemorrhage.
